Content Body

The FAA issued approval to Dassault Falcon for the EASy II flight deck in June, shortly after the EASA granted its approval. EASy II, based on Honeywell’s Primus Epic avionics, adds synthetic vision; improved display symbology; FMS 7.1 enhancements; improved takeoff and go-around capability; Runway Awareness and Advisory System; RNP AR approaches; Waas and European Egnos satellite-based augmentation system; automatic descent mode, XM graphical weather; and ADS-B out. Some of these features are optional. The EASy II upgrade service bulletin for the Falcon 900 was issued on July 4. The Falcon 7X will be upgradeable to EASy II in next year’s third quarter, with the Falcon 2000 to follow in the fourth quarter.
