Rheinland Air Services To Overhaul ATR Systems

Rheinland Air Services (RAS) has been approved by ATR to do repair and overhaul work on ATR flight control systems. RAS is an independently owned regional aircraft maintenance facility based at Duesseldorf’s Moenchengladbach Airport. It has been an EASA-approved repair station for ATR base maintenance for many years. A key component of the appraisal included the extensive disassembly and reassembly of a landing flap, achieving tolerance within the required limits. RAS is just the third company worldwide to earn the endorsement and only the second in Europe.
