Embraer Chooses Sennheiser Headsets

Embraer has selected Sennheiser to provide its HMEC 26 active noise-reduction headsets for the Phenom 100 and 300, Lineage 1000 and E170 through E195 airliners. The HMEC 26 headset uses Sennheiser’s NoiseGard technology to decrease residual noise by up to 90 percent and includes peak-level protection that safeguards the user from volume peaks above 110 dB, a flip-away headphone for single-side listening, left- or right-side microphone boom and noise-compensating condenser microphone. Sennheiser also offers the 26-T version, with a talk-through function allowing the user to push a button on the headset to communicate directly with other crewmembers.
