Hawker 4000 Certified for Brazil

Hawker Beechcraft has received Brazilian certification for its Hawker 4000 business jet, the Wichita, Kan.-based company announced at NBAA 2011 in Las Vegas.

“Brazilian acceptance of the Hawker 4000 is an important milestone,” said Richard Emery, president of Hawker Americas. The super-midsize model already has a long list of certifications in Europe, Bermuda, China, Honduras, India, the Isle of Man, New Zealand, Nigeria, South Africa, Turkey, UAE and the U.S. 

“Over the past two years," Emery said at NBAA, "we have completed several demonstration tours with the Hawker 4000 in South America, and operators continue to be impressed with the performance and capabilities of the aircraft.”
