Gulfstream To Expand Massachusetts Service Center

Gulfstream Aerospace will expand its service center at Barnes Regional Airport in Westfield, Mass. The $20 million project will add a 100,000-sq-ft maintenance facility to the complex. Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream Product Support, said, “This expansion is part of our long-range plan to ensure our service network remains well positioned to serve our customers and our growing installed fleet, especially in the heavily traveled Northeast corridor.” The growth is expected to result in 100 new jobs, an 80-percent increase in the facility’s workforce.
