After being out of commission for nearly three months, the control tower at Puerto Rico Isla Grande Airport (SIG) finally went back online last week in response to increased customer demand at the airport. The tower, which was shut down on August 8, resumed operations after temporary repairs were completed. It is operational from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, but will close again for extensive renovation once a temporary control facility is installed.
