Made in Mexico: Global 7000/8000 Aft Fuselages

Bombardier Aerospace announced on October 24 that Global 7000 and 8000 aft fuselages will be built at its site in Queretaro, Mexico. The Mexican site already produces the aft fuselage of the Global 5000 and 6000, as well as the Learjet 85’s major composite structures. As announced earlier, final assembly of the Global 7000 and 8000 will take place at Bombardier’s manufacturing site in Toronto, Ontario. The Global 7000 is slated to enter service in 2016; the Global 8000 will trail by one year.
