StarPort Promotes Smith to Director of Maintenance

Orlando Sanford International Airport-based StarPort, a subsidiary of Cambata Aviation International, has promoted Phillip Smith to the position of director of maintenance. Smith will lead the company’s FAA Part 145 repair station. He joined the company in 2001 and has held a variety of key maintenance leadership positions since 2002. Most recently he was the MRO’s chief inspector and quality assurance manager.
