Eurojet, Monterey Jet Center and Newton Aviation Join Avfuel Network

Avfuel announced that the Eurojet FBO currently under construction at the UK’s Birmingham Airport near London will become one of its branded dealers. The new 41,000-sq-ft location, scheduled to open next month in advance of the 2012 London Summer Olympics, will feature a maintenance facility, hangars and aircraft sales office along with the FBO. In September, Michigan-based Avfuel announced that Eurojet’s FBO at George Best Belfast City Airport would be the first dealer outside North America to be added to its branded network.

On the domestic side, the fuel provider has added two new locations. Monterey Jet Center at Monterey Peninsula Airport in California features a 10-acre ramp and 200,000 sq ft of hangar space and can accommodate aircraft up to a DC-9. The airport provides access to the attractions of nearby Pebble Beach and offers a good departure point for flights to Hawaii and the Far East. Newton Aviation is the sole services provider at Lewistown Municipal Airport, a former Air Force base in central Montana.
