West Star Adds STC for Hawker Autothrottles

West Star Aviation has received approval for an STC to install the Safe Flight Instrument Auto Power System in Pro Line 21-equipped Hawker 800XPs, 850XPs, 750s, 900s and 800XPrs. Installation on compatible aircraft can take as little as two weeks at the MRO’s Grand Junction, Colo. facility. “One huge benefit is that the system ensures a constant fuel burn, which can result in 3-percent fuel savings,” said Aaron Berg, West Star’s avionics technical sales manager.
