Business Aviation Traffic Growing at New Vietnam FBO

The Vector Aviation FBO at Ho Chi Minh’s Tan Son Nhat Airport in Vietnam recorded 162,349 aircraft movements in its first year (2011), according to customer relations manager Nicolas Dang Vu, who told AIN that “activity is continuously growing.”

While portions of the FBO complex are not unlike those of a typical western FBO, the main hall reflects more traditional Vietnamese décor. As for the amenities, they also are similar to those found in FBOs from Paris to Los Angeles­–ground handling, crew transfers, passenger and crew lounges, WiFi connectivity, flight planning, fuel, weather, landing slots and permissions.

Vector’s staff can also arrange catering, hotel reservations, package tours, special security, visa service, translation and interpreter services, and car rental.
