Flying Colours Wins OK for ViaSat Installation
Subject Area
Content Body

Canadian aviation services center Flying Colours has been appointed an authorized reseller and installation facility for ViaSat, a Carlsbad, Calif.-based provider of satellite high-speed Internet equipment and services.

The agreement allows Flying Colours to promote and sell ViaSat’s VMT-1500 ship-set to its global client base. And Flying Colours has plenty of global aspirations.

The Peterborough, Ontario-based company is a partner with aviation services provider MetroJet of Hong Kong and exhibited at the Abace trade show last month in Shanghai. The company has completed outfitting on four Chinese-registered aircraft in the past two years.

The company’s JetCorp division in St. Louis is staying busy and recently expanded its connectivity capabilities with the STC of the Aircell cabin telecommunications router on a Learjet 60. Installation and certification of the Aircell CTR provides in-cabin Wi-Fi capability for Aircell’s Gogo Biz inflight Internet service.
