Sheltair Breaks Ground on New FLL FBO

FBO services provider Sheltair has started construction on a new $13.6 million facility at Florida’s Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Situated on 11 acres on the west side of the airport, the first phase of the project is slated to open early next year and will feature more than 134,000 sq ft of hangar and office space. Two more phases set to start by 2014 will eventually increase the size of the FBO to nearly 19 acres and more than double its square footage.
