Associated Air Center BBJ Mockup Center Saves Time and Money

Associated Air Center’s BBJ mockup has proved more effective than originally anticipated for turnaround time, project cost and risk management. It allows technicians to fit check interior furnishings, bulkheads, monuments, headliners and valances before the arrival of the green aircraft or while other work is being done on the aircraft. “It eliminates the need to fit and trim components on the actual aircraft, greatly reducing the conflicts often encountered when several skills are sharing and competing for the same real estate inside the aircraft cabin,” a spokesman said. The mockup center supports the 737NG series: BBJ/-700IGW, BBJ2/-800ER and BBJ3/-900ER.
