Sterling’s Charter Fleet Expands as Growth Reaches Double Digits

Milwaukee-based aircraft management, air charter, maintenance and acquisition services firm Sterling Aviation says it has seen a 57-percent year-to-date increase in its subcontracted charter business. This growth is prompting Sterling to add several aircraft to its fleet, most recently a refurbished Hawker 800XP. “Our charter fleet expansion is a timely response to the double-digit charter growth we’re experiencing for long-range, midsize aircraft,” said Sterling president and COO Rob Gort.
