Vector Aerospace Named Asia Pacific Overhaul Facility for PW150A
Subject Area
Content Body

MRO provider Vector Aerospace has been appointed a Pratt & Whitney Canada designated overhaul facility (DOF) for the PW150A turboprop and plans to have an MRO facility in the Asia-Pacific region fully operational by the middle of next year. The company, which has engine MRO facilities in Prince Edward Island & British Columbia, the UK, Africa and France, is a P&WC designated overhaul facility supporting the P&WC PT6A/PT6T/JT15D/PW100/PW305/PW306/PW307/PW308. Vector recently announced that it will add a DOF with full engine overhaul and test capability in Brisbane, Australia, in support of the PT6A this year.

“The addition of this new DOF to our existing engine capability portfolio, and our decision to establish an MRO facility in the Asia-Pacific region truly adds to Vector’s global presence and coverage,” said Vector Aerospace president and CEO Declan O’Shea. “The development of a Pratt & Whitney Canada PW150A engine overhaul facility in this area creates considerable new opportunities for PW150A engine owners and operators throughout the Asia-Pacific region.”
