Rolls-Royce Inks Engine Service Agreement with Bombardier

Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement with Bombardier Aircraft Services that allows the MRO’s centers in Dallas, Tucson, Hartford (Conn.) and Fort Lauderdale to perform maintenance on the BR710. The engine powers the Bombardier Global Express, Global Express XRS, Global 5000 and Global 6000.

A spokesman for Bombardier told AIN the new relationship between the two companies allows the centers to perform line maintenance on the Rolls-Royce engines and also to remove them for shipment to the OEM for heavy maintenance.
