StandardAero Receives EASA STC King Air 200/B200 Engine Upgrade

StandardAero has received EASA supplemental type certificate approval to upgrade the King Air 200/200C/B200/B200C to Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-52 engines. The STC is compatible with numerous STCs, including Raisbeck Engineering modifications and Garmin G1000 avionics equipment. “With StandardAero’s engine-upgrade program, our customers can get new P&WC PT6A-52 engines for a comparable cost to overhauling their high-time PT6A-41s or -42s, while increasing performance and aircraft value,” said Alain Berube, vice president for turboprop programs at StandardAero.
