FlightSafety To Expand TEB Training Center
Subject Area
Content Body

FlightSafety International will start construction this spring on an expansion and renovation project at its learning center in Teterboro, N.J. The project is slated for completion early next year.

The existing building will be renovated and reconfigured to provide more amenities and improve workflow, FlightSafety said. A new wing will be added that features facilities for flight crew emergency training, including a pool and other specialized equipment, as well as more classrooms and office space.

When completed, the center will have eight full flight simulator bays, three more than the facility currently has. Though the Teterboro center currently offers only training programs for Dassault Falcons, a company spokesman told AIN that the three new bays “might include simulators for aircraft built by other manufacturers,” depending on customer requirements. The new wing will also have classrooms and debriefing areas, as well as customer service and office areas.

In addition to the Falcon 50EX, 2000/2000EX EASy and 900EX/900EX EASy simulators and associated training programs, the Teterboro location currently has a full-scale aircraft cabin trainer used for crew emergency and service courses.
