Bristol Flying Centre Group has unveiled its newly remodeled FBO, the sole aviation services provider at the UK’s Bristol Airport. Located in the southwest of the country, the airport has recently seen 1,700-percent growth in annual passenger numbers. To accommodate that passenger surge, the company has doubled the size of its terminal to 6,500 sq ft, including two separate lounges for private and charter flights as well as a crew lounge and redesigned passenger reception areas.

“This expansion has been critical for our customers and staff and we are now ready for our next stage of growth,” said BFC Group CEO Phil Brockwell. Starting this month, the FBO will provide dedicated fueling service through its own tanker, which it says will enable it to offer the most cost-effective fuel to its customers, especially those on tech stops between the U.S. and Middle East. The company, which employs 46 staffers at the airport, offers handling, maintenance, fueling and hangarage, as well as aircraft management and charter through its Centreline Air Charter subsidiary.
