FlightAssure Extends Warranty for Universal Products

Universal Avionics has developed a new extended-warranty program for owners of its products. The new FlightAssure program is available after the original two-year warranty and for most older Universal avionics units. Customers were asking for extended warranties, according to director of product support Andy Seaton. “They want stability in operating costs. Costly repairs might not be budgeted, and this way they don’t have to worry about a surprise.” Universal Avionics dealers can sell the FlightAssure program and perform repairs under warranty. FlightAssure is on a fixed-price, annual basis and fully transferable. Other FlightAssure features include availability of loaner units, 24/7 AOG coverage, component repairs (including no-fault-found removals), removal and installation allowances and free outbound second-day air freight.
