Constant Aviation Installs first Ascend System on Challenger 605

Constant Aviation has completed the installation of Rockwell Collins’s Ascend informational management server on three Challenger 605s. “The aircraft came directly from the factory to our Cleveland facility for the installations. The Ascend system uploads flight-critical database updates and downloads maintenance information post-flight using available Wi-Fi or cellular links, automatically transferring information to and from the data center and providing a time-saving option that allows for data loading without the presence of the crew,” said Derek Morris, Constant Aviation avionics modification manager.
