Pats Delivers BBJ3 Completion

Pats Aircraft Systems recently delivered a BBJ3, marking the 14th such turnkey interior completion performed by the Georgetown, Del.-based center. The aircraft was turned over to a Middle East customer who described the interior as “quite elegant and…a dynamic space in which to relax or work.” Cabin amenities include a customized in-flight entertainment system with simultaneous audio-visual on-demand (AVoD) available at 70 locations in the aircraft, and a system that allows inflight use of mobile phones.

According to the center’s president, John Martin, the interior weight and cabin noise suppression met customer expectations. As with all BBJs, it is equipped with the Pats auxiliary fuel system, this one with four auxiliary tanks holding 2,000 gallons of fuel, good for 1,000 nm more range.
