Flying Colours has been granted a supplemental type certificate (STC) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for a new CRJ ExecLiner Corporate Shuttle created by the Canadian MRO, completion and refurbishment specialist.
The STC covers corporate shuttle interior modifications developed internally by Flying Colours to reconfigure the Canadair CRJ200 regional jet. The new design was created to accommodate 15 passengers, and available interior options include LED mood lighting, high-speed Internet with cabin Wi-Fi connectivity, in-flight entertainment, and updated galley and lavatory designs.
Flying Colours is already working on nine Corporate Shuttle ExecLiners for three unidentified clients. “The Corporate Shuttle ExecLiner is becoming increasingly attractive for the market, owing to its cost-effective proposition,” said v-p Sean Gillespie.
