Rockwell Collins has signed a long-term service agreement with AAR for maintenance, repair and overhaul of Rockwell Collins avionics on more than 300 aircraft, including the Airbus A319, A320 and A330; Boeing 737 and 767; and Bombardier CRJ.
“AAR currently supports more than 600 aircraft under long-term component support agreements, and this agreement will contribute to AAR’s on-time delivery of reliable, quality components to our customers,” Chris Fiddes, AAR’s v-p of business development, told AIN.
The 10-year, customized price-per-flight-hour and fixed-price-repair service agreement provides AAR with Rockwell Collins’s 24/7 repair services and consistent, predictable maintenance costs. The agreement also reduces administrative processing and guarantees turnaround times.
“This program with Rockwell Collins enhances AAR’s ability to provide comprehensive, one-stop shopping and support to our customers,” said John Holmes, group vice president for aviation supply chain. “The relationship also helps us add even more value to our customers through competitive pricing, innovative solutions and technical support, including engineering, reliability and service improvements.”
