Avcon Gets STC for Learjet 20-series Hushkits

Avcon Industries received STC approval for its 2015 Stage 3-noise compliant hushkits for 20-series Learjets, the company announced this week at NBAA 2013. The STC covers most of the 350 Learjet 20 series still in service, but does not include those with the unmodified straight wing and Dee Howard XR-wing; these will need a separate STC, which the company plans to obtain at a later date. Avcon expects the first customer aircraft installation to be complete next month.
