StandardAero Named RR300 Service Center
Subject Area
Content Body

Rolls-Royce and StandardAero have finalized a license agreement in which StandardAero will become the engine OEM’s first independent authorized maintenance, repair and overhaul center (Amroc) for the RR300 turbine engine in North America. The agreement, announced earlier this year pending agreement of terms, makes StandardAero one of only six planned Amrocs.

The MRO has already accepted three RR300s at its Winnipeg, Canada repair facility.

“Our leadership on Rolls-Royce 250 engines will immediately benefit RR300 operators of Robinson R66 helicopters. We are excited to deliver the same level of quality, customer service and engine expertise on this new engine line. Our first three inductions, immediately after signing the agreement, demonstrate the readiness and capability to expand our services real time,” said Manny Atwal, StandardAero vice president for helicopters.

The agreement remains in effect until Dec. 31, 2021, with work being performed in the MRO’s Winnipeg helicopter programs plant.

A similar agreement is in process for StandardAero’s Singapore facility.
