Duncan Completes Second Falcon 900B Universal Avionics Cockpit

Duncan Aviation finished its second Falcon 900B cockpit with Universal Avionics displays in December, installing Universal’s EFI-890R system in the cockpit and Honeywell’s Venue cabin management and entertainment system in the cabin. Duncan also installed a newly designed interior and exterior paint. The flight deck upgrade replaced 25 old instruments with five 8.9-inch Universal EFI-890R displays, which also show engine indications via Universal’s engine interface units. The mod also features dual Universal Waas-capable UNS-1Fw FMSs, dual Vision 1 computers with synthetic vision, dual application server units and a Max-Viz EVS-1500 enhanced vision system. Duncan technicians also installed a Universal UL-801 datalink system so that the Falcon can become Fans-1/A+ capable. Other interior features include Emteq LED lighting, Enflite hi-lo conference table, natural stone galley and vanity counters and Honeywell’s Skybox movie streaming unit.
