DAC International Adds EFB PMA

DAC International has received FAA parts manufacturer approval (PMA) for its electronic flight bag system, comprising the receiver processor unit, display and tray assemblies. The PMA was issued on the basis of an earlier STC for DAC’s Gen-X EFB e-Enabling program, which is installed in the cockpit and cabin to support applications such as system interfaces with the aircraft navigation systems, EFB functionality for charts and aircraft documentation, communication system interfaces for text messaging, maintenance support, e-Commerce applications and cabin applications for customer support. The PMA approval supports the Boeing 777-200/300/300ER.
