Hawthorne Global Aviation Expands Maintenance Capacity

Long Island MacArthur Airport-based Hawthorne Global Aviation Services has expanded its hours by adding a second shift, seven days a week. “With the increased demand for our maintenance services from our in-house, retail and transient customers, we extended our hours to provide our customers with the added convenience of maintenance services whenever they need them and to minimize downtime,” Ralph Michielli, vice president and director of maintenance, told AIN. New hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends. “We offer full service 24/7 and have an on-call crew if more help is required,” he added.
