Marshall Aerospace and Defense Group has signed a conditional agreement with Bombardier to develop a Fans 1/A+ avionics upgrade solution for the Challenger 604. The upgrade will enhance pilot to ATC communications and allow access to dedicated and shorter-route Fans 1/A+ North Atlantic Tracks. Marshall designed the upgrade for Bombardier and will complete a trial installation early next year. The solution will then be available as a Bombardier Service Bulletin to owners and operators of the 361 Challenger 604s currently in service.
