Sheltair Lands Lakeland FBO, Adding To Its Florida Footprint

Sheltair acquired the assets of FlightLevel Aviation, the lone FBO at Lakeland (Fla.) Linder Regional Airport. The location features a new 3,200-sq-ft terminal with passenger and crew lounges and flight planning and conference rooms, along with approximately 54,000 sq ft of hangar space capable of sheltering aircraft up to a Hawker. Sheltair promoted Andy Castro from customer service manager of its Daytona facility to general manager of its new Lakeland facility, the 15th FBO in the Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based chain concentrated largely in Florida and New York.
