RBR Maintenance has acquired a stall barrier test box. It is the required test equipment used to complete the stall barrier dump valve operational test on the Gulfstream IV. The “Stall Barrier Dump Valve Operational Test” was designed to detect latent failures of the stall barrier dump valve. Gulfstream's computerized maintenance program requires the test be performed on certain GIVs during the next “stall barrier/angle of attack system operational test” and again every 36 months thereafter.
