Jet Experiences Control Problems on Takeoff

None of the five people aboard an Embraer Phenom 300 was injured when the aircraft experienced an uncommanded right yaw and roll just after liftoff in day VFR conditions from Palm Springs (PSP), Calif., on November 23. The pilot used left rudder and left aileron to counter the situation but reported that the rudder was ineffective. Although he managed to maintain control of the airplane while returning to PSP, he said he had to apply crossed controls all the way to touchdown.
