Sea Turtle Rescue Seeks Emergency Transport

A sea turtle rescue organization is seeking immediate help from business aircraft operators to transport 85 stranded endangered young sea turtles from the Boston area to three southern locations for rehabilitation and eventual release back into the wild. Leslie Weinstein, president of aviation fastener supplier True Lock and member of the Archie Carr Center for Sea Turtle Research, is coordinating volunteer aviation assets for the effort. Fuel for the rescue flight would be covered by an organizational donor.
