Teamsters Local 1108 Elects New Leaders

The union that represents Flight Options pilots, International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 1108, elected new leadership on Monday. Mat Slinghoff, a Flight Options pilot who held the position of president and principal officer of IBT 1108, will be replaced on January 1 by newly elected president Efrem Vojta. The new vice president is Scott Denison, replacing Erick Maluda. Slinghoff, who flew a half schedule while serving as president for two terms (six years), said he enjoyed his tenure. “It will be good to have a break,” he told AIN.
