CAE Delivers First Lakota FTD

Under subcontract to Airbus Defense & Space, CAE designed and manufactured the UH-72A Level 6 flight training device (FTD) that features an aircraft-specific cockpit with the fidelity and performance of a no-motion full-flight simulator. This is the first UH-72A Lakota flight simulator to be located at the U.S. Army’s primary helicopter flight training school at Fort Rucker, Ala. A second FTD will be delivered this summer.
