Former HBC Exec Brad Hatt Launches Aircraft Sales Firm

Colorado-based aircraft broker Hatt & Associates formally recently opened to provide clients with aircraft transaction management assistance at every step of the sales process. Founder and president Brad Hatt believes these attributes offer clients a smarter, more efficient means of acquiring and selling business aircraft. The company has offices in Denver; Scottsdale, Ariz.; San Jose, Calif.; Wichita; and Dubai.

“We offer global experience in nearly all facets of business aviation and we can help clients successfully identify, fulfill and manage every detail of their aviation needs,” he said. Previously co-founder and managing partner of Soujourn Aviation and president of commercial business at Hawker Beechcraft, Hatt has amassed an impressive aviation sales résumé with major companies in the past three decades.

Hatt said the decision to embark on a start-up venture was purely personal. “My main goal was to start a family business, and Hatt & Associates allows me to do that,” Hatt said. “I wanted to leave my son, an integral part of my business team, a professional legacy he could capitalize on.”
