Content Body

Lincoln, Neb.-based Hillaero Modification Center brought its newly certified Med-mount for the Hamilton T1 ventilator, which is used by medical air-evacuation services nationwide. With the new mount the ventilator can be rotated 360 degrees, allowing technicians and flight medics to precisely position the equipment. It also allows for safe operation of the equipment during all phases of flight.

In addition, installation and removal of the ventilator using the new mount is accomplished with a one-pin release system. The mount is being used by Stanford University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Riverside, Cox Health and Airlife Denver.
