Helitowcart Debuts Three Helicopter Towing Devices

Ground-handling equipment manufacturer Helitowcart of Quebec, Canada is making its debut at Heli-Expo with three new towing devices aimed at private owners of light turbine helicopters–the V301, V910 Light Duty Heli-Carrier and V1060-20 Combi.

The V301 is the new top end of the company’s light towcart series. Featuring a derated gear mechanism for improved tow power on snow and slopes, the V301 is aimed at owners of Bell 206Bs, Enstroms, Robinsons and AStars. The V910 is designed for the same class of helicopter and for owners seeking an affordable solution for moving helicopters without using skid wheels.

Meanwhile, the V1060-20 is an extension of the company’s V1000 Heavy Duty Heli-Carriers. Capable of moving helicopters on wheels or skids, it is designed for hangar managers that host a mix of rotorcraft on wheels and skids. Helitowcart is featuring the V301 and V1060-20 at its display this week at Heli-Expo.
