Kathy Perfetti rejoined the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) as senior advisor for regulatory affairs. Perfetti, who directed IBAC’s International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations from 2007 to 2011, will serve as the IBAC observer on the flight operations panel of the International Civil Aviation Organization, and as a member of the general aviation subgroup. She also has spent 29 years with the FAA, acting as a primary driver behind FAA’s “One Level of Safety” rule that upgraded standards for regional airlines, as well as the Part 91K rule for fractional operations. "My role [at IBAC] will be more of an industry advisor to provide the information to help government officials with their decision making—to be that liaison, to carry that industry voice to the table," Perfetti said.
