Content Body

Executive Air Transport, the lone services provider at Michigan’s Muskegon County Airport since 1959, has been sold to pilot Terry Boer. The FBO is open 24/7 and offers aircraft charter and management and a flight school, along with sales and maintenance for Hawkers, Citations and King Airs. The location, which has more than 72,000 sq ft of hangar space and can shelter aircraft up to a GIV, is home to a half-dozen turbine-powered aircraft, ranging from a Falcon 2000 to a King Air 200. Between the GA traffic and the two commercial flights a day, it pumps approximately one million gallons of fuel a year and provides both Type I and IV de-icing.

“After 33 years in the aviation industry, this was a natural progression,” noted Boer, who holds an ATP certificate and has more than 7,000 flight hours. “Executive Air has a great foundation on which to build and I look forward to expanding our services and business offerings.”
