More than 500 turned out for Wichita customer conference for Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft
Content Body

Textron Aviation is hosting its second joint customer conference on Thursday and Friday in Valencia, Spain, after successfully holding the first combined meeting for customers of Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker brands two weeks ago in Wichita. More than 500 Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker aircraft operators attended the inaugural joint customer conference for the now year-old Textron Aviation.

Brad Thress, senior vice president of customer service, said that the first combined conference “provided us a great opportunity to showcase the customer benefits of the integration of these three storied brands through the sharing of company knowledge and customer experiences across the fleet.”

During the Wichita event, Textron Aviation executives and supplier representatives were on hand to present seminars and answer questions. Seminars were held on various aircraft models, as well as on general topics such as new products, fleet operations, airspace management and international operations.

This week’s event will provide a forum for European operators, leading up to EBACE next week in Geneva. Textron Aviation has a company-owned service center in Valencia, originally built as a Cessna Citation Service Center. The aircraft manufacturer plans to hold similar forums in Asia and South America this year, though details have not been announced yet.
