Content Body

Chromalloy opened a new 70,000-sq-ft sales and warehouse facility in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to house its growing Chromalloy Material Solutions (CMS) division.

Formed in 2010, CMS is a materials distribution business that buys, sells and exchanges repair parts materials to MROs, depots, the airlines and other customers. Led by general manager Todd Jensen, CMS operates in materials from engine parts and components to entire engines, airframe materials and a range of energy industry materials.

Previously, CMS staff and equipment were in San Antonio, Texas; Newnan, Ga.; and Miramar, Fla. Locating the company’s trading business at one larger site will drive customer efficiency while offering space for future growth, the company said. CMS also provides management and supply chain support for aftermarket supply companies and assists in establishing market values for repairs and inventory.
