Set Jet, a membership-based charter program, has launched a service offering daily nonstop flights between Los Angeles International and New York-area airports. The company, which arranges the travel through its partnerships with Part 135 operators, will facilitate flights aboard a VIP-outfitted, 25-seat Bombardier CRJ900. The company is charging $999.95 per month for the service, along with a $3,299.99 one-way fare. Plans call for aircraft primarily to fly into Teterboro (N.J.) Airport and Westchester County Airport in White Plains, N.Y.
Set Jet additionally is offering a suite in the aft cabin for members who prefer to travel more privately. Costs of that travel would be between $15,000 and $25,000 one way, subject to demand and availability. The suite can accommodate up to five members and includes a private lavatory.
“We have experienced a high level of demand for these flights from our existing members in the entertainment, technology and finance sectors and believe this will be a great addition to our West Coast service," said Set Jet president Trey Smith.
