Content Body

Robert Norcross, a doctoral student at Northcentral University in Arizona, is conducting a research study—including focus groups—about aircraft maintenance technician decision-making, specifically when aircraft repair information is not included in maintenance repair manuals. The study’s goal is to improve efficiency and reduce the amount of time and money spent reworking aircraft discrepancies.

The focus group sessions will use “gotomeetings.com” and run between 30 and 60 minutes to gather opinions about nine important questions related to the technician’s experience. Eligible participants must be a U.S. resident over the age of 18 and possess an FAA-issued A&P certificate issued before Jan. 1, 2010. Contact Norcross at [email protected].
