More than 60 delegates from Russia and Europe attended the fourth-annual Baltic Business Aviation Forum that was held in Latvia earlier this month, organizer Russian United Business Aviation Association (RUBAA) announced today. The forum was held August 6 at Riga Business Aviation Centre, which is expected to officially open this month at Latvia’s Riga International Airport.

Presentations at the event largely focused on the current challenges facing the industry in the Baltic States and throughout the region. This included an update on the market for business aircraft sales, challenges posed in recruitment and Eurocontrol’s support of aircraft operators within the framework of aircraft emissions reporting.

Delegates were also updated on the development and infrastructure of Riga International Airport and its future plans, underlined by a tour of the airport and the new FBO. RUBAA confirmed that it will hold another Baltic Business Aviation Forum next year.
