Citing a “large number of inquiries,” Harrods is extending its showcase for a specially designed Eclipse 550 until the end of this month. The British retailer in August teamed with Eclipse distributor Aeris Aviation to offer a Harrods Special Edition variant of the 550, including a customized paint scheme and logo reflecting the Harrods branding. It also includes a number of upgrades. 


This special edition Eclipse 500 retails for $3.4 million and includes a $50,000 pre-loaded Harrods store card as an incentive. Aeris has been highlighting the promotion with a display at Harrods. Chaired by Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson, Aeris has represented the Eclipse 550 in Europe since the model’s return to the market in 2013.
