RBR To Install LoPresti Lighting on Business Aircraft

Dallas Love Field-based RBR Maintenance is now an Elite Partner with Florida-based LoPresti Aviation. Under the agreement, RBR will sell and install LoPresti Aviation’s HID (high intensity discharge) lighting upgrades for business aircraft. LoPresti designs and manufactures HID lighting for Part 23, Part 25 and Part 27 aircraft. It holds supplemental type certificates for more than 300 aircraft types. The lights produce from three to 15 times more illumination than incandescent lights, and they also operate at cooler temperatures and draw significantly less electrical power.

RBR service manager Scott Carter said, “Our current focus is on Hawker, Citation, Gulfstream and King Air operators. [The agreement] allows RBR to expand our potential customer base to include Falcon and Pilatus aircraft, as they are applicable airframes for these products.”
