Daher delivered the first TBM 930 to a European customer, Rheinland Air Service (RAS), yesterday at the Aero Friedrichshafen show in Germany. RAS is the TBM authorized distributor for Austria and Germany.

The new TBM 930—unveiled April 5 at the company’s factory in Tarbes, France—includes the Garmin G3000 avionics system and an “enhanced interior,” which differentiate it from the G1000-equipped TBM 900. Both turboprop singles are certified by the U.S. FAA and EASA.

According to Daher, the TBM 930 and 2016 TBM 900 also share several new features, including angle of attack (AOA) information on the primary flight display; electronic stabilization and protection systems; underspeed protection; emergency descent mode; and additional voice alerts for stall, overspeed, landing gear status and oxygen mask use.

To date, four of the new TBM 930s have been handed over to customers, with a fifth scheduled for delivery before the end of this month. It delivered the first of the new turboprop singles, to a U.S. customer, exactly two weeks ago at Sun ‘n’ Fun 2016 in Lakeland, Fla.
